If you are based in the Kanto area or even beyond and you have never been to Africa, then you do not have to worry because this weekend, Africa is being brought to your doorstep! The Committee of African Festival Yokohama is inviting all and sundry to come and enjoy the third African Festival Yokohama 2009 from Friday, 3 April to Sunday, 5 April.
The aim of this festival is to bridge the cultural difference between Africa and Japan. It is more or less Africa’s motivated trade, investment and cultural expo in Yokohama.Business men/women, students and the general public at large must make it a point to visit, learn and explore the numerous trade and investment opportunities as many African Embassies and exhibitors will exhibit products from their various countries.
The festival starts on Friday, the 3rd of April, 2009 with an opening ceremony commencing at 10:30am (prompt) on the 3rd Floor, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse (Aka Renga) No.1 building, 1-1-1 Shinko, Naka-ku, Yokohama 231-0001. Entrance is FREE for all!

Other attractions include Traditional Cultural Drumming and Dancing, African Photo Exhibition, Lecture, African Games Corner, African Fashion Show, Dance & Traditional Musical Instrument Workshop, African Quiz, Concert and many more not to be missed by anyone.
