Cherry Blossom Party with members of the Tokyo Full Gospel Church-English Service

Forget about the premature hanami (enjoying the beauty of flowers). Two weeks, I went for a second hanami, where flowers were in full bloom. This event was organized by the English Service group of the Tokyo Full Gospel Church. Apart from enjoying the beauty of the flowers, we had a wonderful time of eating together. Last Saturday, I went to the Ookayama Campus of Tokyo Institute of Technology for hanami, a Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, with my lab mates and professors. Even though the flowers were not yet in full bloom, I enjoyed the day. Here are some of the photos:

The Committee of African Festival Yokohama is inviting all and sundry to come and enjoy the third African Festival Yokohama 2009 from Friday, 3 April to Sunday, 5 April.
